What is Coaching?

My coaching is based on the following Values:

• Giving you the confidence to believe in yourself so you can move from where you are to where you want to be

Inspiring you to move forward and achieve your dreams

Supporting you so you feel able to make the right decisions and follow that through

• Giving you the energy needed to feel great about yourself

Understanding your thoughts, feeling and emotions to enable you to see the light at the end of the tunnel

• Giving you enthusiasm and determination to enable you reach your goals

Motivating you to move forward and realise your potential

• Offering trust and empathy to help build a solid open coach and client relationship

• Make you feel positive and empowered so you can think clearly

Not to judge or criticize you as an individual

• Keeping you focused so you can act in a forward thinking way

• Being action-orientated to maintain the proactive and fun attitude

Coaching isn’t:

• Advising or telling you what to do (exception of public speaking coaching)

• Making decisions for you

• A dissection of your past

• Counselling, mentoring or psychotherapy

The key differences between coaching and all the other forms of support you can seek including counselling, mentoring etc. is that:

• Coaches are not going to tell you what to do. You won’t be given advice. It will be you who will decide on the best way forward

• Coaching is talking about an issue and taking action to make a change. So if you’re not willing to do something to improve your current situation, coaching won’t be the right path for you at this time.

Don’t worry if you don’t know what action to take now, that’s where I will help you.
